State Representative Search
Greetings to the Churches of the IARBC,
During the annual State Meetings of the IARBC on April 7-8, 2025, Tim Capon announced that after eleven years of serving as our fellowship’s State Representative, he will be retiring in May of 2026. I know that you join with me in thanking Tim and Sandy for their faithful and productive years of ministry to our association!
From the moment that Tim shared his retirement plans with the Council of 10, we began the process of finding God’s next man to serve as our new State Representative. This individual will be vital in leading us forward as a fellowship with a vision of building healthy churches across the state of Iowa that are intentional at making disciples. For this to happen we need your help! I ask that you do three things:
Please make this search for a new State Representative a matter of prayer both personally and within your local church.
Please go to iarbc.org/state-representative-search and carefully read the ministry profile that gives a detailed description of what we are looking for in our next State Representative.
And finally, once you have read the ministry profile, please submit names of men you believe are qualified for this position. The deadline for submitting names is August 1, 2025. Submissions can come from pastors, ministry leaders, people in our churches, or simply from people who love the IARBC and desire to see it move forward building healthy churches.
