Good News Baptist Church, Sioux City Celebrates 30 Year Anniversary
Dear Sister Churches of the IARBC,
Thank you for your part to target the westside of Sioux City as a place to plant a like-minded, fundamental Baptist church. We praise God for the association networking to promote our existence. Please come and join us this Sunday as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Good News Baptist Church. We want to extend an invitation to your churches for your role in helping us minister in Siouxland. A special thank you to all who supported CBM church planter, Brad Hoff, and for your support to get us started, your prayers, gifts from individual churches, for the help from the revolving loan and all who gave time to help remodel our store front and build our church building.
Our founding, church planting pastor, Brad Hoff, will join us for the day. During the 9:30 a.m. Sunday School hour, Pastor Hoff and those in attendance will be sharing testimonies from the early days of our church. We will have a special worship service (10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) filled with short, 1-to-3-minute testimonies, singing, a discipleship challenge from Pastor Hoff and a message from Pastor John. At 12:15 p.m. we are planning on having a smoked meat meal to celebrate God’s Providence in helping us develop faithful and fruitful followers of Jesus Christ.
We would be blessed to have you join us. May God bless you for your partnership in the Gospel for Sioux City.
Sincerely in Christ,
Pastor John Woodford
