Will Hatfield Ratified as Next IARBC State Representative

At an IARBC Special Business Meeting Saturday afternoon at Ankeny Baptist Church, Pastor Will Hatfield (CrossRoad Baptist Church, Ames) received a 99% plus vote from the messengers in attendance to be the next IARBC State Representative. He will assume his duties on May 1, 2026. The transition plan includes some time of overlap before and after that date so he and I can work together to make this as smooth a transition as possible.

Pray for Will, Amy, and their family as they navigate this transition over the next several months. Pray also for CrossRoad Baptist Church as well as they enter this new season in the life of their church. Pray for Sandy and me as we want to finish well serving our churches.

And give thanks to the Lord for His clear direction during this process. To Him be all the glory!
