We were so excited about last Saturday (June 2) when we met with the Recognition Council, that we wanted to postpone this update so we could include good news. Things began to snowball and here we are, almost a week later. But we do have good news! Things went very well, the men gave some good suggestions and advice and great encouragement. We are now recognized
as a biblically based and duly organized independent Baptist Church. This is a milestone we have been anticipating for quite some time, and now we can work toward our next goal as we start our charter membership list. A celebration is in the works for Sunday, June 24, so if you're in the area, come join us!

Thank you for praying about our meeting with the town council about holding a Good News 5-Day Club
in the Community Building. After they had opportunity to look over the information and understood that we were not intending to conflict with the community VBS, they approved our use of the building and waived the fee. In fact, they were very favorable toward our efforts to serve the community in this way. This will be held June 18-22. Some inquiries have already been made about it, and one little boy is so excited that he convinced his mom to bring him last Monday! We're getting very excited about what the Lord will do through this effort. Please continue to pray as we send out flyers and make contacts to spread the word about the 5-Day Club.
We loved having 3 of our 4 children and
all 9 of our grandchildren
here the last week of May. We were all together a couple of days, and we also had individual family times. It was especially good to see Michael doing so well; he didn't stop going! Check out our Picture Page http://buntsupdates.weebly.com/pictures.html
and you'll see why we had a good time.
Please pray for us as we try to find opportunity with new next-door neighbors
. We encourage our church people to both live and share the Gospel, and we want to be examples by reaching our own neighbors. We continue to give out the tract Michael wrote ("Part of God's Plan") and gave one to a politician who came to our door. He made a return visit to thank us for it; He had read it and said it was just what he needed.
Praying and giving are a very esesntial part of God's work. We cannot thank you
enough for your faithful partnership with us.
