Revolving Loan Birth!

Anything that lives must have a birth. That is anything or anyone but God. Revolving loan concept grew out of the ministry of Next Towns Evangelism. Financial help is needed to provide adequate buildings in new works. It is often the help that inspires courage and steadfastness. If we san help, we should. Galatians 6:10 says, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.”

God used our fellowship in the 1940’s and 50’s to plant a number of churches in the state of Iowa. Several of these churches are going onward, ministering to their communities very effectively. Out of, and mingled with, this vision came the concern to assist, emerging and newly planted churches with a pleasing building to honor our Lord and to house them in their community. IARBCers conceived Revolving Loan Fund as they dreamed and planned.

An initial gift of $2,000 launched the program. Now struggling churches had another option if loans from commercial institutions were unavailable. As you may expect, several changes have taken place since those visionary days. God graciously blessed! People worked! With additional gifts plus modest interest the fund grew and met needs.
