		Our State Representative Our State Representative is busily and actively involved in the following ministries to and for our Association churches: Church Relations: Pastorless Churches, Church Problems, Pulpit Supply… Counseling Pastors: Special Needs, Churchless Pastors, Philippian Providers… Coordinating the Association Work: Men’s & Ladies Retreats, Youth Ministries, Baptist Children’s Home of Iowa, Outreach, Cooperating with IRBC and FBBC/TS… Conferences: Annual State Meetings, Pastor’s Seminars, Pastor’s Wives Retreats Church Extension: Next Towns Evangelism, Revolving Loan Fund

The Council of Ten
The Sevants of the Association of 103 churches include the Council of Ten and the committee members.
The current members of the Council are:

OFFICERS

CHAIRMAN - DAVID STROPE (April 2013)  -Presides over meetings and coordinates with the State Representative the Annual State IARBC conference.

VICE CHAIRMAN - BRUCE THOMPSON (April 2013) - Assists the Chairman and oversees all retreats (men and women) as the point person.

SECRETARY - JOE EARLE (April 2013) - Records minutes, keeps records, sends  correspondence on behalf of the council.

TREASURER - DOUG FARRELL (April 2013) - Responsible for all funds and securities.  Pays bills and gives receipts. Oversees the deposit and transfer of funds.  Oversees the signing of checks.  Chairs the revolving loan fund committee

OUTREACH - Gives focus to increasing the outreach efforts of IARBC Churches and Pastors in the State through the pursuit of the 1st — 7th published goals of the IARBC strategic plan and other likeminded goals.

CHURCH HEALTH - Serves in a support role to the IARBC Churches in the State.  They strive to find ways to promote prayer, enhance effective discipleship, perpetuate our heritage, keep ministries of the IARBC relevant through the pursuit of the 8th — 16th published goals of the IARBC strategic plan and other likeminded goals.

MINISTERIAL CARE - Serves in a support role to the IARBC Pastors in the State.  They strive to find ways to support our State Representative as well as strengthen, assist, and train Pastors through the pursuit of the 17th — 20th published goals of the IARBC strategic plan and other likeminded goals.

 FINANCE - Serves in a financial support role to the IARBC Churches of the State.  They strive to provide maximum funding for the various ministries of the IARBC through the pursuit of the 21st - 24th published goals of the IARBC strategic plan and other likeminded goals.

 Doug Farrell (April 2013)

GOVERNANCE - Serves in an administrative support role to the IARBC Churches of the State.  They strive to keep the IARBC constitution and by-laws relevant to the goals and purposes of the associated churches through the pursuit of the 25th published goal of the strategic plan and other likeminded goals.
