Judy's surgery, yesterday, went well, but was more involved than what was previously expected. The cancerous tumor on the upper lobe of her right lung was also attached to her middle lobe and there were 5 very small patches of cancer on her lower right lobe, so rather than just removing just the upper right lobe, the surgeon had to remove her whole right lung. Though this was quite a shock to Judy and the whole family, we do have praise for the strength that the Lord has given to her. She was taken out of ICU right before lunch today and taken to a regular room. Except for some lingering nausea from the anesthesia, she is feeling quite well. We thank you for all your prayers on Judy's behalf. After she has recovered, there will likely be some chemo therapy, but that is down the road. Right now we are taking each day as it comes and trusting in our great Savior and Lord for the care and grace He extends to us.
