Mrs. Judy Merchant

Judy saw the Thoracic Surgeon yesterday (7/18) and is set for surgery on Wed., 7/25.  After reviewing all the test results, the doctor anticipates removing all the cancer through the surgery by removing the upper lobe of her right lung.  Pathology reports following surgery will determine if further treatment will be required, but the doctor is optimistic that there will be none necessary.  As with any major surgery there is potential for complications, so we ask for specific prayer at this time for the thoracic surgeon, the vascular surgeon he has asked to assist him, and his surgical team.  We continue to feel the Lord's presence in a deeper way and know part of that comes as a result of so many of you praying on our behalf.  Thank you!
