Prairie Flower Baptist Church, Washington - Calls New Pastor
Prairie Flower Baptist Church is pleased to announce that they have a new pastor, David Cotner, who accepted the call on November 10, 2013. He follows the good leadership of Pastor Don Collings who served this church for 13 years. David and his wife are excited about the ministry, and they look forward to what God will do in and through His people.
David is an Iraq War Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army from 2006-2010. Currently, he is finishing up a degree from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, Iowa and is majoring in pastoral studies with a minor in Greek. David’s greatest passion is preaching the gospel, and his two greatest earthly treasures are his wife, Heather, and his daughter, Ann-Marie.
Heather has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, and is currently a registered nurse in Des Moines, Iowa. Her greatest passion is caring for people, and she enjoys crafts, cooking, and spending time with her family. She is looking forward to life and ministry in Washington, Iowa.
Please pray for Pastor Dave and his family in the days and months ahead. This is their first ministry and they covet your prayers for wisdom and discernment. Their full time start date at Prairie Flower is June 01, 2014.
