Hagerman Baptist Church, Waterloo - Appreciation & Farewell for Pastor Adam Standley
On Sunday, November 3, Hagerman Baptist Church celebrated the 10 years of ministry that they’ve had with Pastor Adam and Kellie Standley, along with their daughters, Makenna and Auna. Pastor Adam came to Hagerman as an intern in November, 2003, and then came on staff fulltime after graduation from FBBC in June, 2004.
The day of celebration included a challenge from Pastor Dave Peters, Adam’s father-in-law, in the morning service, a fellowship dinner, and then an afternoon service. That service included special music from former and current youth group members, and then many personal testimonies from those in the youth group, former youth group members, and from adult church members. They gave testimonies of praise to God for the faithful years of ministry, and the steadfast message of being a servant of Jesus Christ.
The service concluded with the deacons, trustees, and Pastor Peters surrounding them in prayer for the family’s next ministry. Pastor Adam will be moving to Grace Baptist Tabernacle in Centerville, Iowa, becoming the church’s senior pastor there.
