Thursday, June 29, the National Talents for Christ Competition was held in conjunction with the Annual GARBC Conference in Clarks Summit, PA.

We praise the Lord for all the students from Iowa who were able to compete and want to congratulate them including the ones who won in their respective categories:

Female Voice – Danielle Haeffner, Calvary Baptist Church, Mt. Pleasant – 2^nd Place in Open Category

Oral Interpretation of Scripture – Ashley Pearson, First Baptist Church, Creston – 2^nd Place Scholarship

Preaching – Dean Miller, Faith Baptist Church, Fort Dodge – 1^st Place Scholarship

                    Andrew Franklin, Faith Baptist Church, Mason City – 2^nd Place Scholarship

Visualized Bible Teaching – Timothy Rose, Calvary Baptist Church, Union – 2^nd Place, Scholarship

Woodwind – Jennifer Farrell, Calvary Baptist Church, Forest City – 2^nd Place, Scholarship
