Campus Baptist Church, Ames now CrossRoad Baptist Church

                                            

On Sunday, April 22 Campus Baptist Church in Ames, Iowa celebrated the changing of their church name to CrossRoad Baptist Church.  This decision is a joint step in their vision to reach all people with the truth of the gospel and share the message of God's love, grace, hope, and forgiveness.  The congregation voted to make this change on March 4 for two reasons: the growing confusion over their location when they were called “Campus” and a desire to refocus on the cross of Christ as our hope in today’s world. 

The friendliness of the congregation has not changed, but how they relate to each other and encourage each other to build a relationship with God is invigorating and can be life changing. There are Bible classes at 10:45 a.m. for all ages and all are welcome to join us as we seek to live a life of hope with a secure future.

The church celebrated by looking back through a video message from former pastor, Charles Alber, as well as some former members of the church.  They also unveiled a new sign and had shirts available with the new logo.
